Islamabad railway station () (Formerly Margalla railway station) is located in sector I-9 Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan. The station was established in 1979 and a rail shuttle was started between Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The shuttle was suspended within a year due to financial loss and the station closed down. It will have a 30-minute stop at Lahore.From Margalla station of Islamabad, the train will be departing at 3pm to reach Karachi Cantt the next day at 1pm.
